Eggbox Theatre are an East Midlands based company, specialising in interactive theatre for new young audiences. I worked as Assistant Producer on their UK tour of The Moon and Me, an interactive, intimate theatre experience for 2-5 year olds and their families.

The Moon and Me was a 10 venue regional tour of a 50 minute sensory experience for young audiences. The show was an interactive, intimate theatre experience about friendship & sharing that took place inside a self built white dome. The show explored the human experience via the senses and relationships, shedding light on sense of self in young children and encourages social bonding with peers and care-givers.

I worked under Producer, Simon Hollingworth and supported Artistic Director's Dawn Richmond-Gordon and Leana Sherwood to build the tour of The Moon and Me. This was my first taste of touring theatre and it taught me a lot about building partnerships and the sustainability of a small-scale theatre company.
