As a Fundraiser at Sheffield Theatres, I worked with the development team to fundraise, cultivate and grow the fundraising strand of Sheffield Theatres as a charity.

I was regularly involved in fundraising both solicited and unsolicited funds from individuals, trusts and partners, leading on the applications for three successful bids from both local and national trusts and foundations. I also worked with the rest of the development team to plan and host the annual gala which raised circa £53,000 - an organisational milestone.

Most importantly, I led on the membership campaign, working with American organisation TRG to boost sales, cultivate individuals and grow the membership base. During my time as membership officer, the base grew from 2400 to 2950 people after two very successful acquisition and retention campaigns.

Sheffield Theatres is the biggest theatre complex in the UK outside of London. Position gained through the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Scheme.
