The Bank is Sheffield Theatres' brand new creative space for local artists and theatre-makers to develop work, skills, collaborations and careers with the support of the staff and creative teams at Sheffield Theatres.

Home to a 14-strong cohort of writers, directors and producers who are supported and mentored over 12 months in a programme culminating in industry showcases, seed funding for projects and opportunities to work on Sheffield Theatres’ productions.

This opportunity is really supporting me grow as a producer. The biggest asset that these 12 months are giving me is essential highly skilled training in managing big budgets, insights into the top of organisational structures and how to work on commissioned partnerships between venues and companies.
