The Places in Between is an audio-digital experience about culture, community, place and history engaging communities in 8 towns and villages on the Lincoln to Sheffield train line.

The project brings together writers and artists, with personal connections to the region, and current residents, to explore what these places mean to them, empowering and enabling communities to tell their own stories, and challenging the urban-centric tendency of cultural experience.

Callum is a brilliant director and theatre maker born and bred in Worksop, South Yorkshire. As a theatre-maker, he creates intimate, political performances that blend storytelling and audience interaction. Callum is a Camden People's Theatre supported artist and a New Perspectives Associate. His recent work has been showcased at hÅb, Camden People’s Theatre (CPT), LCB Depot & BasicSpace Festival.

Callum's work plays with notions of community & togetherness and this is at the heart of The Places in Between. He approached me over a few pints in the autumn of 2020 and I am thrilled to be helping him make this project a reality with the support of a mega creative team.
